At 13 years of age, Todd Howard began weight training in a small Gym located in his home town of Spartanburg, South Carolina. This gym called Olympian Fitness Center was owned by 20 year old Lee Haney. For the next 4 years, Todd was taught personally by Lee Haney proper nutrition as well as safe and effective weight training techniques. In early "89" after completing a tour of duty in the United States Marines Todd founded a company called 1onONE™ Active Wear. 1onONE™ Active Wear bought, sold and manufactured workout apparel. Todd has a genuine love for people and yearns to see others succeed. While acting as President and CEO of the growing Nutrition Store chain, Todd always kept a handful of personal training clients. Since the big health club chains no longer allowed personal trainers to train clients in their faciliies, Todd realized the need for a training center to service his Max Muscle clients. In January of 2001 Todd began searching to find someone with a similar vision, knowledge, drive and love for people that he had. He found it in a Max Muscle Store client named Devin Dixon. The (2) of them partnered in 2001 and 1onONE™ Personal Training Centers was born. Under the drive and leadership of Devin, 1onONE™ Personal Training Centers has become the most successful and innovative personal training center in Southern California.
